First post of second life.

Hi, in this post, we would like to share our experience visiting these two places, American Cancer Society (ACS) and University of Western Australia (UoWA)  =)

We basically divide our points into three categories, navigation, aesthetics and how useful the place is.

1) Navigation

In term of navigation, I choose ACS compared to UoWA. This is because in ACS, it's easy to find people as the map is simple compare to UoWA. Furthermore, ACS provide specific coordinate, so when people want to go to this place, they just easily plug in the coordinate and teleport. However, for UoWA, it is hard to find as it doesn’t provide the specific coordinate in the second life world.

2) Aesthetics

The UoWA's design is quite bad, as I used to go to one of this place inside the university. It’s no used to go to such place as it just some weird building with no shape. Compare to ACS, the buildings is simple and doesnt need to wait for a long time to load. Buildings in UoWA are also illogical. It’s not really design well. If there is a stair, I cannot use it because it too small for an avatar to use.

3) Usefullness

There is no information inside the UoWA. It just show who design the places. In ACS, there are a lot of information and also some encouragement words to someone who suffer cancer. In UoWA, there is one place, it said that if I click the image, it will change the picture. But it doesn’t happened.

Here, its the screenshots of the both places.
